Connecting people, evidence, and ideas across the water community

U.S. Agency for International Development, Global Waters Communications and Knowledge Management II (CKM II) (2021-2025)

EnCompass partnered with the Center for Water Security, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WSSH) to modernize how the Agency communicates and shares what it knows about water and WASH. Through the CKM II Activity, our team helped transform data, experience, and lessons learned into platforms, stories, and tools that practitioners can easily access and use.

Our team designed and managed user-centered knowledge and data platforms, including the development of interactive tools such as the WASH Needs Index and MPI Water Equity visualizations so partners, and policymakers could quickly find the evidence they needed. We also developed a wide range of practical communications and learning products, from toolkits and fact sheets to webinars, reports, and global learning events. We also supported the Agency’s presence and engagement at high-level international water forums.

Throughout the activity, our team used iterative design, user feedback loops, and agile content development to continuously refine knowledge management resources. This approach strengthened learning uptake, improved access to evidence, and enabled more consistent dissemination of the Agency’s water and WASH priorities.
