AI for the Federal Workforce

The Artificial Intelligence for the Federal Workforce series brings together the dynamic, results-focused training methods of EnCompass with the robust AI subject matter expertise of ArtForm to deliver just-in-time learning solutions for individuals, teams, and leaders seeking to understand AI and responsibly use it in the federal workplace. Not just a presentation, these courses invite immediate practice and application through use-case scenarios, engaging exercises, and game- based learning. Participants will leave each course with practical skills to enhance their work and increase efficiency by using AI as a collaborator. All courses align directly with America’s AI Action Plan.

These courses are offered in three tracks to meet the unique needs of the federal government and are available for in-person, virtual, and hybrid delivery, in half- day, full day, two- and three-day versions. They can be delivered with a focus on ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and/or Claude.

AI for the Federal Workforce

  • Track 1: AI Basics

    This course offers foundational understanding of generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning for the federal workforce. It addresses myths and facts about AI and invites federal workers to “walk with” AI as a companion to make their work more efficient.  Participants apply concepts in real time by working directly with AI throughout the course.

  • Track 2: AI for Leaders

    This course provides leaders at all levels with the information and skills they need to enable and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence within their teams and agencies. Using real-work scenarios, leaders explore implications of artificial intelligence for team upskilling, policy development, and strategic planning.

  • Track 3: AI for Acquisition Professionals

    Uniquely tailored for acquisition professionals, this course explores the fundamentals of applying Artificial Intelligence in federal procurement, including risk management, ethics, and data privacy. Through simulations and role-based exercises, participants learn to apply AI concepts directly to acquisition workflows.
