Title: Care that Counts: An E-Learning Course for Quality Improvement in Orphan and Vulnerable Children Programs
Client: Health Care Improvement Project, U.S. Agency for International Development
Description: This five-module course on CD-ROM and Web serves national quality improvement teams and managers in organizations that implement services for orphans and vulnerable children. The course focuses on planning and advocating for quality, defining quality and establishing consensus on service standards, developing a communications strategy, improving quality at the point of service delivery, and, measuring quality.
Title: Legal Aspects of IFC Advisory Services
Client: International Finance Corporation (IFC)
Description: EnCompass developed a 40-minute e-learning program that teaches advisory services staff about legal issues that impact their work. Using interactive case studies drawn from real situations, the course covers the five legal instruments that must be used when entering into any agreement with clients in their respective countries of work. The course is required for all advisory services staff, who receive a certificate of completion. EnCompass also designed an e-learning course to help staff understand their roles and responsibilities regarding the organization's code of professional ethics.
Title: Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism E-Learning Course
Client: International Finance Corporation
Description: EnCompass developed and delivered e-learning modules to introduce staff to a revised integrity due diligence process and to provide more detailed training on anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism program. These were delivered Web-based on a Learning Management System.
Title: Intensifying the Fight against HIV/AIDS in the Workplace E-learning Course
Client: World Bank
Description: EnCompass developed this six-module e-learning course for HIV focal points in each World Bank country office. Developed from a face-to-face global program that EnCompass also designed and delivered, this e-course reinforced the workshop component and served as a daily resource for newly-trained focal points. Users most appreciated the practice exercises, which placed them in several real-life scenarios that they might have to respond to in their roles as HIV in the Workplace focal points in their offices.
Title: Sustainability Training and E-learning Program
Client: International Finance Corporation
Description: EnCompass provided instructional design and development for 13 interactive e-learning modules. Umbrellas pop open to represent three different types of environmental and social risks that may be encountered by the users. The course teaches users how to develop policies and guidelines to assess risk and the umbrella represents ways to protect the organization against these risks.
