Strategic Planning
ENCOMPASS engages organizations in strategic thinking and whole system assessments to clarify values, develop new visions, and establish strategic directions. We focus on the client organization’s future while building on the best of the past. Our approach helps clients discover customer needs and explore service quality issues. The process results in strengthened individual and collective commitment to the organization’s values, strategic directions, vision, and concrete action plans to achieve that vision.
Affirmative Customer Service (ACS)
The ACS process was designed specifically by ENCOMPASS to help our clients ensure customer satisfaction and improve organizational results. ACS engages everyone in the client organization and its customers in an ongoing dialogue to determine what is most important to customers and how to ensure that they get it on a daily basis. Among the benefits resulting from this process are improved employee morale, greater employee involvement in the organization, and creation of an organizational culture that ensures long-term exceptional customer service.
Appreciative Assessment and Evaluation
ENCOMPASS is a pioneering leader in emerging evaluation methods called “Appreciative Evaluation,” an approach that leads to dynamic organizational learning, accountability, and sustainability. Through this approach, ENCOMPASS helps its clients to discover the optimal performance in their system and to take steps to make the exceptional the norm. We document “best practices,” collect and analyze information on our clients’ services and products, and translate our findings to help organizations provide exceptional services and products into the future. Our unique approach takes the fear out of the evaluation process.
II. Facilitation Services (SIN 874-2)
ENCOMPASS facilitation and management support services offer an effective, confidential means for individual managers and management teams to successfully steer their organizations in a rapidly changing, increasingly complex world. The success of our facilitation projects is attributable to the exceptional skill of our facilitators and their capability to help managers create more of what they want for themselves and their organizations, with less stress. We focus on clarifying and verifying strategic plans and decisions, personnel issues, organizational dynamics, stakeholder needs, information analysis, team-building, leadership development, and more. As with all services, we tailor our facilitation approaches to the individual needs of each organization, taking into consideration group size and desired outcomes.
III. Training Services (SIN 874-4)
The ENCOMPASS Leadership Academy presents a comprehensive series of training courses focused on leadership development, standards, customer service, and building healthy organizations, all of which have been tested in public and private arenas. Our curricula are designed to support organization leaders, managers and supervisors to: maximize performance and outcomes; enhance quality; focus on the customer (internal and external); and prepare their units, departments, or organizations to effectively plan and manage change. The ENCOMPASS approach to training offers clients a diverse menu of custom-tailored training opportunities in addition to companion services to complement the ultimate goals of the training, such as application of new management skills, adoption of technological solutions in the workplace, and enhanced leadership effectiveness. We incorporate leading-edge adult learning techniques and solid facilitation principles so that participants learn from each other and the group process as well as from the materials and practice. ENCOMPASS training materials are clear and complete, and contain descriptions of the purpose and expected outcomes of each activity. They include prepared readings and resources for further study and learning.
IV. Program Integration and Project Management Services (SIN 874-7)
The ENCOMPASS philosophical
orientation to program integration and management is appreciative: our goal
is to be constructive and respectful of the programs, projects and systems
in which we are invited to offer our services. We are committed to helping
organizations identify best practices and use them to develop clear, valid,
consistent and practical goals and standards. We begin by guiding our clients
to identify priority areas. We then draw upon varied tools and methods to
design a process for standards development that includes planning, system
analysis, research, benchmarking, testing and adapting standards. This design
integrates qualitative and quantitative methods and data to produce valid,
credible, and useful findings. ENCOMPASS
helps organizations to continually clarify the goals and standards of the
integration process through all of its phases: planning, implementation, evaluation,
and incorporation of results.
