UN Secretariat Honored with ICF Prism Award

On October 5, the UN Secretariat was honored for the use and impact of coaching in their Management Development Programme (MDP) when presented with the annual ICF International Prism Award at the ICF (International Coach Federation) Global Conference in London. Fatemeh Ziai, the UN Secretariat's Director of Learning and Development, noted that coaching does more than help the UN Secretariat deal with complexity; it has started to re-shape the culture of the organization. "The coaching component of the Management Development Program is having impact across the Organization and serving to increase staff morale and self-confidence,” she explained. According to an ROI impact evaluation conducted by the ROI Institute earlier this year, the program has had the greatest impact on job effectiveness, and there has been an 87.6% return on investment (ROI) from the one-on-one coaching provided within the program.
EnCompass has been working with the United Nations on the design and delivery of their management development and leadership development programs since 2009, including the provision of coaching services. We are proud to continue our collaboration, and we congratulate our client partners at the UN for this accomplishment and honor.
