United Nations Agency, Management Learning Program (2009-2011)
EnCompass delivers a management learning program (MLP) for a major UN agency that delivers services to global locations in the field. Each 12-month MLP is designed to support 30 mid-level managers and includes a 360 assessment, self-study modules, individual coaching, peer learning groups, and a final five-day workshop. An EnCompass team of coaches and facilitators provide individual and group coaching and classroom learning.
Multi-National Corporation, Seminar for Manager (2008-2012)
EnCompass is the external training partner to the Daimler Corporate Academy for global leadership programs in North America, Mexico, China, Japan, Singapore, and Brazil. These programs support new managers in their transition to first-time managers and leaders. The objective of the program is to cultivate within new managers a leadership mindset that serves as a solid foundation for future challenges as a manager. The program includes two, three-day modules delivered over a three-month period. The philosophy of this leadership program is based on systems theory and incorporates three phases: learning about leading self, leading others, and leading the business.United Nations Agency, Talent Management Program (2008-2012)
This four-module talent management program is delivered to high potential managers at an agency in the United Nations over a 12-month period. It includes two-and-a-half day modules interspersed with action-learning based intersession assignments. The program includes development of a personal learning plan, a team action learning project, and several individual leadership assessments related to emotional intelligence, conflict style, and collaboration.
University Research Corporation, Leading People and Teams (2010-2011)
This is a custom leadership development program for director-level staff. The design includes a three-day offsite workshop focused on key leadership competencies, group learning sessions, and an action learning assignment, supported by group coaching. The workshop was designed based on a series of assessment interviews with selected participants. A design team of stakeholders refined the program objectives and developed case studies for use in the program.
UN Food Agency, Leadership Training Programme (2011)
EnCompass is supporting this agency in a leadership training initiative intended to build the capacity of Program Officers as the organization transitions from a strategy of being a provider of food aid to a provider of food assistance. The program will focus on improving leaders’ ability to gather and apply strategic information in order to design quality programming; strengthening their knowledge of program design and implementation; and, enhancing their ability to engage with governments, UN agencies, NGOs, and partners at various stages to support more effective coordination of assistance.
UN Food Agency, Foundations of Management Program (2011-2013)
EnCompass designed and is delivering a two-module Foundations of Management Program. Key components of the program include two interactive face-to-face workshops with individual coaching and action learning activities between sessions, and assessments, readings, and engagement in an ongoing community of practice. The program targets the development of General Services and Administrative staff in core management skills outlined in the UN Competency Framework.
United Nations, Leadership and Management Development Programs (2008-2013)
EnCompass has designed and delivered four different global management and leadership development programs within a major organization of the United Nations in a variety of locations including New York, Geneva, Vienna, Santiago, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Beirut, and Bangkok. These mandatory programs are delivered to 400-500 senior leaders and managers each year. The programs include multiple classroom modules, 360 assessments, individual coaching, and action learning.
